We work together for positive change
I use a combination of Cognitive behavioral therapy, ACT( Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and Imago Therapy. I work with people struggling with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Sex Addiction and Relational Issues. Some of the specialties that use ACT are:
Anxiety disorders: ACT helps people reduce the impact of anxiety by teaching them to accept their anxious thoughts and feelings, rather than trying to avoid or change them. ACT also helps people identify and pursue their valued goals, despite the presence of anxiety
2.
Personality disorders: ACT helps people with personality disorders develop a more flexible and compassionate sense of self, as well as improve their interpersonal relationships. ACT also helps people cope with the emotional distress and impulsivity that often accompany personality disorders.
3.
Depression: ACT helps people with depression increase their engagement in meaningful activities, as well as reduce their negative self-evaluation and rumination. ACT also helps people cultivate a sense of purpose and direction in life, as well as a connection to their values.
Trauma: ACT helps people with trauma-related problems, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), heal from their traumatic experiences by fostering acceptance, mindfulness, and self-compassion. ACT also helps people reconnect with their values and rebuild their sense of safety and trust.
Insomnia: ACT helps people with insomnia improve their sleep quality and quantity by addressing the underlying factors that interfere with sleep, such as worry, stress, and unhelpful beliefs. ACT also helps people develop a more positive and flexible attitude towards sleep, as well as a better balance between rest and activity.
Addiction: ACT helps people with addiction overcome their substance use problems by enhancing their motivation, self-control, and coping skills. ACT also helps people identify and pursue their values, as well as find alternative sources of satisfaction and fulfillment.
